True wisdom comes to each of us
when we realize how little we
understand about life, ourselves,
and the world around us.

3/25/2018 0 Comments what have I been up to lately? If you've returned to my site hoping to see new posts, this post will inform you of what I've been doing ever since I created my last post in my "Discovering the Grace of God" series. As I continue my regular job as a custodian at the Eli Lilly Technology center, I've been working with a career coach at IUPUI to improve my resume and find a writing job that will pay a good deal more than what I'm making now. I'm considering the field of content writing because the work done in that field seems to be similar to the work I did for Das Fort Media. I've improved my LinkedIn profile, but now I don't know what step I should take next. I'm starting to give serious consideration to the prospect of getting a second job. Yet I'll continue my search on LinkedIn.
Outside my current job and my search for a new one, the main task I've been trying to accomplish is getting a new computer more suitable for 3D rendering. I purchased a CyberPowerPC from Best Buy, but I was disappointed to discover that its graphics card was malfunctioning. I returned it and ordered a replacement. The replacement arrived a few days ago, and I'm typing this post on it right now. Yet even though it functioned well for two days, it has started to randomly crash. I spent a good deal of money on this computer, and I waited in great anticipation for it. This is a great computer when it's functioning properly, but I'm very displeased and frustrated with CyberPowerPC for selling computers that have technical issues. I plan to take it to a local computer repair store to get it fixed. On a more interesting note, I've done a lot of thinking about the setting of my 3D renders. For years, I've jumped back and forth from the idea of doing renders of the pre-flood world of Genesis 1-8 or a fantastical universe based on ancient history. Realizing how difficult it is to depict a world the Bible says very little about, I, as you can see on my 3D rendering page, am leaning towards the fantastical universe option. I'm developing many ideas for renders I'd like to do. Hence, once I get the issues I'm experiencing with this new computer fixed, I'll start to create and upload renders more frequently. Please pray that God will help me find a better job, and guide my mind in every project I do. Hopefully, you'll see many new things here soon.
